MY EXPERIENCE:
I have wide-ranging experience of working with many different issues and currently work in a hospice offering art therapy to patients both on ward and in the community who are receiving palliative or end of life care as well as supporting their relatives or carers.
Other recent employment includes working as an IAPT counsellor contracted by the NHS to provide short-term, solutions-focused counselling and as an honorary arts psychotherapist for Bromley Woman’s Service, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust where the therapy I offered was longer term.
I have also worked on an NHS acute ward at the mother & baby unit of the Royal Bethlem Hospital and in the community with people living with dementia.
I am experienced in supporting young people having worked in schools, with children who have special educational needs, and as a nursery assistant.
